November 22

Back from Disney, HK Legico, MUSE, Hope,

I saw hope from the Disneyland trip, from the many (so far two) interviews with Hong Kong Legislative Council, from the MUSE magazine, and from this city generally.

I think this is a city that allows its citizens to both hear and voice different opinions regarding Yueju Opera, tourism industry and arts.

I find this is a city that encourages creativity, hardworking and sometimes, if inspiration knocks at the door, a MUSE angle.

I feel this is a city where university lecturers are not only lecturing, but also teaching students how to develop in an all-around fashion.

Based on all the abovementioned, I like this city!

going to disneyland for a mission - can be tough.

It is going to be my second trip to Hong Kong Disney Land. Yet this time is different: we are not tourists any more, but secret video journalists.

Am always a fan of Walt Disney, so into his cartoons and park designs. But would it discount my love for Disney if I conduct disobedient activity on its private property? According to Disney, any shooting without prior approval is not allowed.  Shall him pardon us given we are only poor students doing a school project?

Ever since the brain embarked on the serious study of journalism, gradually did I find many of my interests being diluted by the need of dissecting them and actually, as the nature of a job: a movie editor used to say, "watching moving for a job can be tough." Fair enough. "Traveling for a job can be tough too," Jennifer added.

So it is with talking with people for the purpose of getting expected interview results, eating food for the purpose of commenting it, and writing articles for the purpose of earning bread.

Purposes-driven is not good, for it deprives one of  fun and joy. I don't want my little world void of laughter.

Slighted

Someone used to say that the biggest punishment to a criminal is to ground him/ isolate him. When he gets the feeling that he is so alone and lonely, he knows he is facing the biggest punishment.

Why people enjoy slighting/ignoring others.

Why human beings, born from the same origin, reveling in the blood of their sisters and brothers.

Why the world suddenly gets brutal, merciless and simmering, under the dome of suffocating silence.

Song of the Open Road

By Walt Whitman

Afoot and light-hearted,

I took to the open road.

Healthy, free, the world

before me,

The long brown path

before me,

leading wherever I choose.

'I know I should not miss him'-as part of the lyric-which tune is it from?

This is the sole fragment of the lyric I recognized during the flywheel exercise.

GREAT Tune, only if I know what the female artist is singing/shouting about?! =]

Hello Jennifer - Is it Friday the 13th yet in Beijing?
This was always fun time in classroom.
Is this such a superstitious day for China?

Sending Happy Thoughts For a Happy Planet

Today was a happy day.

In casual conversation I got to say I know someone in Beijing.

Out of so many millions UR only one I know in Beijing (currently in HK)

but I felt rather a star of conversation. :)

Hope studies going extraordinarily well.

My health improves and I am less cranky.

Hello dear Jennifer, YVR is total rainstorm. Ugly, wet, dark, damp downpours. Most YVR-ites walking around with pockets of tissues, throat lozenges, cold/flu medications. Not a good time to visit. I improve and thank you for visits while I had cold/keyboard issues.
